    Hi Todd, yes the conversion is going ok, but I have been having issues w/ the alternator.....seems that the rebulit one I got from Mike at MR. Scout has different color wires than the manuals.....so I need to find out where they go to attach to the wires I put on my external regulator....also trying to make the clutch linkage fit....seems the engine is a bit too far back....other than that when the exhaust pipe arrives maybe I can actually drive it!

    I'm not sure I answered Todd. Sorry if not. Thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately, I'm in a part of Texas, just below the 'hill country' uplift and still prone to too much humidity to be considered 'dry.' We're far enough away from the coast to be free of salt but rust still has it's way with us.
